    Symptoms of sleepwalking

    In the case when the cause of the drift is any medications taken by the patient, they should be canceled or at least reduced dosage.

    If sleepwalking occurs on the background of epilepsy, the patient will be prescribed antiepileptic drugs, and when the neurosis becomes the cause, tranquilizers and anti-depressants will be prescribed.

    • hide the keys to the front door and the car,
    • in severe cases, you can even tie the patient to the bed, but sometimes the lunatics somehow untied themselves in a dream,
    • You can also put a basin with cold water in front of the patient’s bed or lay a cloth dipped in cold water - when he gets up, the person will dip his legs into the water and wake up from it.

    In conclusion, I would like to repeat that in the overwhelming majority of cases, sleepwalking is not dangerous and ends with recovery even without treatment, but sometimes it accompanies the course of quite serious diseases.
